Yesterday, we had telugu prathama  mid-term assessments, for those who have not taken it last week. 

Core Activity: Assessments telugu Prathama.

Writing : Students wrote achulu and hallulu.

Oral: Class revised numbers, names of telugu months. We have learnt two poems in this class, Alpudepudu palku, Vemana Padyam; Hari yanu rendaksharamulu, Bhagavatha padyam:

Homework: Write achulu and hallulu 10 times. Make kids practice and learn the alphabet during holidays. Also, help the kids to practice the above two poems.

Core activity: We have learnt a story about 'Paramanandayya sishyulu/. Students found it interesting and learnt new telugu words all along.

Oral: This Sunday's session is an interesting one with students talking about how they celebrated Deepavali in telugu.  They liked speaking details about their festival day at home.

Students asked for a quiz on fruits and vegetables and participated through.

We learnt counting numbers 1-100, days of the week.

Also we revised poem and bhavam of  vemana padyam, 'alpudepudu palku'.

We ended class after singing Janagana mana.

Homework: Hallulu -5 times. Speak to your kids in telugu about festivals celebrated.
Please send a notebook and pencil to telugu class.

Core Activity: We are working to make kids write telugu letters, achulu and hallulu. It is very important that kids master telugu alphabet before they start writing words. Please help your kids 
learn achulu and hallulu at home too.

Oral: Kids practised counting numbers up to 100 in telugu. They also learned different colors in telugu. Known the names of popular fruits in telugu.

Homework: Write Achulu and Hallulu twice in telugu notebook. Quiz your kids to test telugu colors and fruit names. 

Reminder: Do not forget to send telugu notebook, pencil and eraser to telugu class.

Core Activity: Telugu alphabet achulu and hallulu. Achulu and hallulu are the foundation for kids telugu written skills. kids write achulu and hallulu and we correct if any mistakes are done.

Dear Parents

Core activity: Kids practiced writing achulu and hallulu with the help of teacher.
They also have learnt Vemana padyam, 'alpudepudu palku,'  with tathparyam.

Vocabulary/Interaction:
Names of week days, and months have been revised. Numbers are also counted till 100.
Animal names are translated to telugu by students and kids enjoyed learning unknown
animal names in telugu.

Homework: Please make your kids do homework, telugu achulu and hallulu twice on telugu
notebook. Please send notebook and pencil to prajna class.

Dear Parents

We had an interesting and well participated telugu session this sunday, 1st october, our third class in this 2017-18 academic year.

Kids have learned numbers 1-100, weekdays.
Kids have revised and learnt telugu months.
They have practiced writing achulu and hallulu.

Students participated in a quiz on animals and birds.

Homework: Some kids turned in their homework. Please make your kids do homework regularly.
Also make your kids bring pencil and notebook to class.

Dear Parents

 Hevilambi Ugadi Subhakankshalu.

Last sunday 3/26 was a well attended class with enthusiastic students.

Core Activity: Writing achulu and Hallulu. We repeat this activity for the past few weeks keeping in view of our soon approaching annual exam on april 30th. Also kids have learned varoius fruits in telugu.

Spoken Telugu: Traslating english sentences to telugu, boys compete with girls in this section.

Other activity:  Reviewed relations in telugu, numbers upto 100,

Last sunday, 3/19, we had an intersting telugu sesion.

Core Activity: Reviewed achulu, hallulu. Also, practiced yeppati keyyadi, tappulennuvaru, chaduvadi entha kalgina, poems from sumathi, vemana and bhaskara satakams respectively. Please make your kids practice the above at home too.

Spoken telugu: Students are very interested to translate the story, 'poyina vastuvu' by Maryada Ramanna. Boys and girls are translating each sentence in telugu. We are halfway, will finish it by the next class. Please try to communicate in telugu with your kids.

Homework: Achulu, Hallulu, write twice, telugu simple words 15. Also make kids remember fruits/vegetables/animals in telugu. Plz follow the previous youtube links to practice.

Reminder: Next sunday, 3/26, we have a parent -teacher interactive meeting at 10 am for prathama and parichaya modules. Please attend after dropping your kids in the morning.

Dear parents

This Sunday kids revised achulu, hallulu, and simple words. This has been the repetitive activity for the past few weeks and also has been encouraged to do as home work. As always except a few kids, home work turnout was poor.

Kids revised 'yeppati keyyadi', 'vinadagu nevvaru' poems. Kids are supposed to memorise these poems. Please work with them.

We had a quiz involving vegetable,fruit,animal names in telugu. Please make them watch the telugu names in youtube.

Also, Kids spoke about what they saw in the cities they visited in India. We will continue doing this spoken telugu section next week also. Please remind them about what they saw/did during India visit.

Kids had an interesting session this sunday, 2/5/17.

Core Activity: Kids practiced writing achulu and hallulu. Please make them write ten telugu words at home.

Spoken Telugu: Kids had fun playing roles as doctor and  patient. Several kids participated in this spoken telugu skill building activity. Please encourage kids to speak telugu at home.

Story: Kids listened to Bhagavatha story, about Krishna's eating mud. Please ask them to say the story in their telugu words.

Dear Parents

We had an interesting session this weekend with telugu kids.  

Core Activity: Kids practiced writing hallulu in the class. Also they practiced writing simple  telugu padalu. Kids are very enthusiastic to write telugu padalu. Please encourage kids to write simple words.


Revision: We revised padyalu, eppatikeyyadi, thappulenuvaru. 

Spoken telugu: Kids spoke 5 sentences each about their India trip. Please prepare your kids to be ready to speak few sentences as we continue this in the next class.

Homework; Please make kids write hallulu and simple words in telugu. 

Note: There is no telugu class next sunday as HH China Jeeyar swami is coming to Ashtalakshmi Temple. So, see all telugu kids on February 5th.

Dear Parents

Happy New Year

It feels so good to see telugu kids after a long winter break. Kids are happy too, as they had a great holiday.

Classwork: Mid term mark sheets are handed out and conducted re-exam for those who dint attend.
Please review the marks and revise what went wrong. Most of the kids did well in midterm and I feel happy about it.

We revised the two poems, tappulennuvaru, eppati keyyadi in class. Also revised vegetable names,telugu months. Kids are excited to talk about their favourite pet animal in telugu. Please help them talk more about their favourite pet animal as I want more kids to participate.  Kids are very much excited when boys and girls had a quiz, as two groups for saying Telugu words for equivalent English words. Gils team outsmarted boys!!

Homework: Please make your kids write at least 10 words using the book "parichaya'.
